The Baška tablet is a monument from around 1100 AD carrying an inscription in the Croatian recension of Church Slavonic, written in the Glagolitic script. Petar Dorčić found it on 15 September 1851 while paving the Church of St. Lucy in Jurandvor, near Baška on the island of Krk. A small part of it was already broken at that time.
