- Step 1: Commission = 8% of R15 000 = R1 200.
- Step 2: Total pay = R2 500 + R1 200 = R3 700.

Why not the others: R1 200: only the commission was found, the basic salary was left out. R14 500: the commission rate was divided by 10 instead of 100. R2 508: the rate was added as rand.
