Dear Mother, I arrived in Manchester safely last night, although my flight was delayed by two hours. My room in the student residence is small but comfortable, and I share the kitchen with five other students from different countries. The weather is cold and it rains almost every day, so I have bought a warm coat and an umbrella. Classes start on Monday, and I am nervous but excited.
