A circular garden has radius 7 m. Using pi = 3.14, what is its circumference?
Answer and explanation
Correct answer: D. 43.96 m
- Step 1: Circumference = 2 x pi x r. Step 2. 2 x 3.14 x 7 = 43.96. Answer: 43.96 m. Why not the others: 153.86 is the area, 21.98 forgets the 2, and 14 is only the diameter.
