used to + 原形：過去常常；be used to + V-ing：習慣於。

It was in this village that he was born.（強調地點），that 子句動詞時態依原句。

Not until + 時間 + 助動詞 + 主詞 + 動詞：Not until midnight did he arrive.

過去完成式的用法
表示在過去某時間點之前已經完成的動作：By the time we arrived, the film had started.
