Mathematics in your exam.
How to practise mathematics.
- 1
Start with the topic you avoid
The topic you keep skipping is where the quickest marks are. Do one short set on it before anything else.
- 2
Try it before you read the explanation
Struggling for two minutes teaches more than reading a finished solution. Then compare your steps with ours.
- 3
Learn untimed, then add the clock
Get the method right first. Move to a timed mock test once a topic feels steady.
- 4
Keep a list of your mistakes
Write down why each answer was wrong: a sign slip, a formula you forgot, a misread question. The list shows what to fix.
- 5
Come back after a week
Repeat the questions you got wrong after a few days. That is when a method either sticks or fades.
