Parents and teenagers

How GetMyMockTest treats the information of young people, and what parents can ask for.

Last updated October 5, 2026

This page is for parents, guardians, teachers and teenagers. It explains in plain words how GetMyMockTest treats the information of young people.

Who can use the site

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account. We ask for a date of birth and do not create accounts for anyone younger.
  • If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before you sign up. In some countries the law sets a higher age (up to 16 in parts of Europe, and 18 in India and some other countries) for agreeing to an online service by yourself. Where that applies, a parent or guardian's permission is needed.
  • Children under 13 can use the public pages (reading questions and flashcards) without an account, with a parent or teacher.

What we know about a teenager

Name, email, country, exam goal, date of birth (kept private, never shown to anyone), and what they study: answers, test scores, time per question, flashcard progress and saved items. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

Who can see it

  • The teenager.
  • Teachers and school admins of classes they join, and the owner of a family group they join.
  • In a study group, other members see only a nickname, and see progress only if the teenager chooses to share it (and only if at least two members share).
  • Our administrators, when needed to resolve a problem.

What we do not do

  • No advertising, no tracking for advertising, no selling of data.
  • No public chat, no photos of people, no public profiles, no way for strangers to message anyone.
  • Study groups work by private invite link only; there is no public search.

Weekly family summary

The owner of a family group can receive one email a week with how each child studied in the last 7 days (days studied, questions answered, accuracy, tests, up to three topics to practise). It shows nothing the owner cannot already see on the family page. The family page tells children about it. The owner can stop it in Settings or with the link in the email.

Parents' rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your child's data at any time, and to withdraw permission. Write to [email protected] from the email on the account, or use the data requests page. If the account belongs to a child under 13, tell us and we will delete it.

For teachers and schools

Group owners are responsible for who they invite. If your school needs a data processing agreement, write to us.
