Correct answer: A. KSh 14,000
- Step 1: Basic pay = 250 x 40 = 10,000. Step 2. Overtime = 250 x 2 x 8 = 4,000. Step 3. Total = KSh 14,000. Answer: KSh 14,000. Why not the others: KSh 12,000: That pays all the overtime hours at the normal rate. KSh 10,000: That leaves out the overtime. KSh 24,000: That pays every hour at the overtime rate.
