Read the passage about saving water and choose the main idea.
Water is limited in our region, so we must conserve it. Small habits make a real difference. Closing the tap while brushing teeth, fixing leaks and watering plants in the cool evening all help. A small drip may seem harmless, but it adds up to thousands of litres in a year. Some schools collect winter rain in a tank and use it for the garden. Rain falls mostly in the winter months, and the rest of the year is dry. Everyone has a duty to protect the water we share.
