You must stop behind another vehicle in a tunnel queue. What is the minimum gap to leave?
Answer and explanation
Correct answer: A. 5 metres
- Step 1: Rule 126 says to leave at least 5 m if you stop in a tunnel. Step 2. That allows room to get away in an emergency. Answer: 5 metres. Why not the others: 1 m and 2 m are too tight, and 10 m is more than the Code requires.
