Data requests and complaints

See, correct, download or delete your data, or make a complaint.

Last updated October 5, 2026

This is the one place to use your rights over your personal data, or to complain about how we handled it. It applies wherever you live.

What you can ask

  • See the data we hold about you, and get a copy.
  • Correct something that is wrong.
  • Delete your data and your account.
  • Download your data in a usable file.
  • Object to or limit how we use your data, or withdraw a permission you gave.
  • For a child: a parent or guardian can ask for any of the above for their child.

The quickest way

Signed in, open Settings: you can download your data and delete your account there.

For anything else

Write to [email protected] with the subject "Privacy" (or use the contact form and choose "Privacy"). Please write from the email address of the account, tell us what you want, and for a request about a child tell us the child's name and the email on the account. We may ask a question to check it is really you.

We reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If we cannot do what you ask, we will explain why.

Complaints

Write to the same address with the subject "Complaint". If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority (for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, your national authority in the EU, the Data Protection Board of India, or the ANPD in Brazil).
